Dear Councilor:

I cannot be at your public hearing today on the nomination of Frank Edelblut as Education Commissioner. But I want to support Frank’s nomination and urge you to confirm him.

We can proudly say that New Hampshire is the only state in the entire Northeast with a “triple play,” control of the state house, senate and governor’s office. So we have a special duty to get it right. New Hampshire has always been a leader in applying conservative principles to the challenges of our constantly changing society.

We want the best for our kids. And we want them to receive a traditional American education.

Frank has innovative ideas. Governor Sununu has faith in Frank; I do too.

Our Republican majority in Washington has promised to send more responsibility and accountability back to the states. I hope they make good on that pledge. Frank can be part of both a new legislative/executive team that meets the challenges sent from Washington and also help undo the damage of past administrations and maladministration in Concord.

I wholeheartedly endorse Frank Edelblut and I hope you will vote to confirm him.

As always, please feel free to call me if I can answer any questions.

Respectfully submitted,

Andy
