New Hampshire U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin says that President Trump’s endorsement of “Porky” “Corky” Messner, a convicted drunk driver, indicates that once again Trump was betrayed by his own insiders

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

(MANCHESTER, NH) (July 8, 2020)

Dear Granite State Voter:

“Colorado Corky,” a/k/a “Porky” Messner is a drunk driver. The media have ignored and not reported Messner’s drinking problem, with one exception, Tony Schinella of Patch.com (please see Link [1] below).

Am I just airing dirty linen by writing these remarks? Not by a long shot. I will connect up the dots so you see where I am coming from and where I am going. Media corruption and political incompetence and corruption are endemic in New Hampshire.

First, I will show you how President Donald Trump was betrayed by his closest advisers in the White House.

Second, I will explain how the corrupt “Fake News” New Hampshire media will work in concert with the Democratic Party if Messner wins the primary. John DiStaso of WMUR and Kevin Landrigan of the Union leader are puppets of the New Hampshire Democratic Party.

Third, I will produce a list of questions for President Trump to ask Messner before Trump highlights Messner at next Saturday’s Trump rally. Tragically, Trump is almost certainly setting himself up to lose New Hampshire by ham-handedly intervening in the September primary, as I have suggested before.

Trump the non-drinker:

President Trump does not drink, not socially, not “just a little,” not just at all. So, for Trump, alcohol abuse is a serious matter, almost a phobia. A brother died from alcoholism. It left a lasting scar on the president.

1. President Trump the dupe and Messner the Drunk Driver

     a. Trump was betrayed by his own staff

If someone had walked into the president’s office and asked if he was willing to endorse a wealthy candidate he didn’t know, in a state he had to win, but the candidate had a drunk driving conviction in his past, what would Trump have said? Probably “Hell No.”

But Trump’s staff maneuvered and engineered the fateful endorsement of Messner because Trump is easily and often fooled by his “advisers” where political matters are concerned. Trump has the weakest political operation of any president in recent history. That is why he regularly makes decisions and issues tweets that jeopardize his own reelection. So, Trump was played by his insiders, and now he is stuck with a drunk driver as a candidate he has endorsed and who can only cost him votes in New Hampshire if Porky Corky wins the primary. Sad. My guess: someone somewhere along the pipeline got paid off to get Trump’s endorsement.

     b. Messner’s drunk driving is a legitimate issue

Almost no one who is arrested for drunk driving has had only “one too many” on only one occasion. By the time you are driving drunk outside the white lines on a street, the way Messner was, you have a serious alcohol problem. Drunk drivers do not suddenly appear, and then disappear after a single arrest. They usually get smarter and may insulate themselves from their alcohol abuse by using chauffeurs, designated drivers and car services. But they are doing so because they drink too much to be safe on the road.

Messner has apologized and said he only got arrested once. Good for him. But we are not concerned with his alcohol “bust;” rather, we are concerned with whether he is a candidate whom the Fake News media, DiStaso and Landrigan, will blow up just before the election to reelect Jeanne Shaheen.

2. Media whores in New Hampshire are Democratic Party puppets

     a. Am I exaggerating? Hell no!

In 2000, just before the presidential election, the media ginned up an old drunk driving charge against Governor George W. Bush, please see Link [2] below. The Bush drunk driving matter was 25 years old. Messner’s drunk driving conviction? Almost twenty-five years ago. The Bush drunk driving kerfuffle is almost a template for 2020.

Do New Hampshire Democrats use old mud to smear candidates in 2020? You betcha. Please see Link [3] below. They are already doing it. They are masters of the craft.

     b. Local New Hampshire media corruption

In 2016, I exposed before the September primary that a Republican candidate for congress in the Second District was a fraud. DiStaso and Landrigan held back my information until just before the November election, when they suddenly “discovered” my research and exposed/defeated the GOP candidate.

While the Union Leader pretends to be a “conservative” newspaper, it hasn’t been conservative since the end of Loeb family ownership. The current owners have to exist in an increasingly liberal, if not leftist, New Hampshire and so the owners and writers at the Union Leader accommodate the needs of the state Democratic Party.

WMUR is owned by the liberal descendants of the original “Fake News” publisher, William Randolph Hearst, and they are a bunch of liberal trust fund babies. WMUR is immensely profitable, unlike the Union Leader. WMUR’s Manchester employees follow diktats from their liberal midtown-New York bosses.

The state Republican Party’s leadership has been living in the past, when Republicans really ran the state; often leaders are not aware they are being “played” by the local media. But Democrats keep winning and Republicans keep losing and on and on it goes.

New Hampshire’s print media are either dead or dying; in such a state corruption always seeps in to prolong the survival of a newspaper.

DiStaso and Landrigan are obviously aware of Schinella’s story. But they are pretending the Patch story does not exist. Then, when Democrats unveil Messner’s drunk driving charge in October, WMUR and the Union Leader will report Messner’s conviction as “news.”

3. What questions should President Trump ask Messner before showcasing his toxic “endorsement” next Saturday?

Trump questions to Messner:

     a. What is your current level of alcohol consumption?

     b. Did you ever attend or seek assistance for an alcohol or substance abuse problem?

     c. Did you ever attend Alcoholics Anonymous?

     d. Have you ever used a car service or “designated driver” (not yourself) when you were attending an event where alcohol is served?

     e. Are there people in Colorado, where you live, who are potential witnesses to your drinking habits? (Andy Martin will be investigating.)

The Bottom Line:

If Messner wins the primary, he will be exposed by the Fake News media, and he will in all probability take President Trump’s campaign down with Messner’s own loss. Messner is a ticking time bomb, and he will be exploded when the Democrats want him to explode. It is as straightforward as that.

Because Trump’s ill-advised endorsement of Messner undermined Don Bolduc’s campaign and credibility, I have said Bolduc is a “carcass, not a candidate.” But with his drunk driving conviction, Messner is also a dead man walking in the days before the November election.

I am the only candidate with the political experience to smash back at the Democrats and take on Shaheen. That is why DiStaso and Landrigan follow their Democratic marching orders to constantly undermine my campaign. DiStaso and Landrigan will try their darndest to nominate a Republican loser and reelect Shaheen. Wait and see.

Sincerely,

Andy

Fourth of July remarks: New Hampshire U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin offers inspirational remarks to Rockingham County Young Republicans

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

(MANCHESTER, NH) (July 5, 2020)

Dear Granite State Voter:

The Fourth of July is a wonderful holiday because it is a universal celebration. Whatever your status in life, whatever your religion, whatever your origins, you can celebrate on the 4th. We are One.

As the holiday winds down, I’d like to share a few thoughts with you.

Last weekend I was privileged to spend some time with Rockingham County Young Republicans who were hosting an outdoor barbecue.

The Rockingham group had a mix of young men and women who are committed to the Republican Party. As part of my remarks I made an unusual offer. I said that candidates for the state house and state senate who didn’t have a campaign “adviser” could call my office, and I would offer free advice to help them with questions that might arise during their campaigns.

I want to encourage young men and women to run for office. We Republicans have something to offer our neighbors: the promise of a bright future. A future filled with freedom and liberty, but also with challenges and unanswered questions that await every new generation of Americans.

And, driving home, I asked myself, “Who has said it best in the past?” Who best crystalized what I wanted to express? Why President Ronald Reagan, of course. (Please see link {1] below).

President Reagan told us what we need to hear, every Fourth of July, every day of our lives: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It has to be fought for and defended by each generation.”

Today our freedoms, the very concept of liberty itself, is under attack. People want to besmirch the Founders, and adopt a radical, counter-revolutionary platform for our future, a future in which the state would be all-powerful and citizens would be nonentities, a Communist Chinese-based system.

It's hard to express a sophisticated, challenging concept in the midst of hamburgers and hot dogs, and so I didn’t deliver these specific comments at the Rockingham YR barbecue. But they will get a copy, just as you are.

There has been so much controversy over the Wuhan virus. I don’t believe it was deliberately created. But the failures of the Chinese Communist Party unleashed a dreaded disease on the world. Like Nazi Germany in the 1930’s, China today is an expansionist power with delusions of world hegemony.

In retrospect, everyone could have done better. Isn’t hindsight wonderful? But as a nation we have done our best to confront the virus. Democracies are not perfect; our flaws play out every day in the public arena. We do not cloak our mistakes in a “Bamboo Curtain.” Because we are robust, democracies tend to make a lot of noise. People disagree, sometimes loudly.

But the United States has weathered the economic challenge posted by the Chinese viral attack better than anyone expected. We found old truths staring us in the face: America no longer manufactured life-saving drugs and protective equipment. Those deficiencies are being corrected. Supply chains are being brought home, slowly at first and then faster and faster.

I strongly support President Trump for reelection. But even if he is defeated, he has changed the course of our nation. I’ll admit, Trump is not a touchy—feely kind of guy. But he is the most brilliant political strategist of the last fifty years, a true visionary.

The radicals may think they can go back to the old way of doing business, the “Obama Way,” but there is no way of going back to Obama-style gridlock.

America is once again called to be the “Arsenal of Democracy.”

Communist China must not be allowed to succeed in its plan to enslave the world.

Which brings me to the domestic protests about the alleged wrongdoing of the Founding Fathers and our current leaders. We do not live in a perfect world. We live in a real world. If a policy is wrong, it can be changed through the democratic process. Mobs are not a democratic form of government. I saw things that need to be changed; so did you. Let’s change them, peacefully.

One of the reasons I am running for U. S, Senator is I am the only credible, experienced candidate who can confront Jeanne Shaheen with the Democratic Party’s and Obama Administration’s failures.

I was there in the 89th Congress when today’s civil rights laws were passed. I predicted Obama’s failures as a leader. Experience means something in politics, even though many candidates pretend their lack of experience is a qualification for office.

The Young Republicans I joined last week have to confront real challenges; they start with challenges of family and work, of leadership at the state level, and, ultimately, the challenge of choosing our national leaders.

As I promised them, I will be there to offer the benefits of my wisdom and experience to young candidates who are starting out. We must ensure a smooth transition from one generation to the next. As a U. S. Senator, I will, in President Lincoln’s words, attempt to “bind up the wounds of the nation” and prepare us for our bright new future. I will be there for every Granite Stater.

New Hampshire has glorious traditions and they must be maintained. They are the foundation, the bedrock of our future successes. The Young Republican generation must take up the responsibility of continuing and enhancing these traditions.

I’ll be there to help and guide them, and I hope you will be too.

In closing, I hope you had a healthy and happy Fourth; may you celebrate many more in the future.

Republicans are here to stay. America is not going anywhere. We led before, we lead today and we will lead into a bright new future. America, not Communist China, represents the future of the world.

God  Bless America, and God bless all of you who are part of and share our great Granite State.

Sincerely,

Andy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

(MANCHESTER, NH) (June 8, 2020) --- New Hampshire Republican U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin says his primary opponents are treacherous, anti-Trump candidates and he promises to expose them in a series of news releases over the next three weeks. “As a young law student, I started in Illinois politics fighting the Crime Syndicate-influenced Democratic Party; I helped send many of them to federal prison. When it comes to fighting for public integrity, I have a long-established track record of being a tough corruption fighter (see www.andymartin.com for details).

“A few days ago, one of the GranuiteGrok.com editors posted a jibe at my claim of ‘experience’ to be a formidable senate candidate. I actually read the Grok, and often get ideas from their work, but their persistent support for losing candidates speaks for itself.

“Here are some undisputed facts from recent New Hampshire politics:

“In 2011, I exposed that Jennifer Horn, who had run for congress as a young conservative, was transitioning into a liberal Democrat. Horn supported Barack Obama and attacked my well-received book exposing Obama’s lies. I warned New Hampshire Republicans – this is 2011, mind you - that Horn was not to be trusted any longer as a conservative.

“In 2013 I opposed Horn’s election as state chairman because she had engaged in tax fraud during her own congressional primaries, by not paying withholding taxes. The IRS had a lien on her house. Horn refused to take a paying job to pay off her tax liens. Instead, Horn preferred to be an unpaid (?) Chairman of the state GOP. Very suspicious. I said Horn would be a disaster as chairman and would do incalculable damage to the party.

“In 2014 I opposed Horn’s recruitment of a Massachusetts resident to run for U. S. Senate. By reaching to Massachusetts, Horn sent a signal of weakness about New Hampshire Republicans. I exposed that Scott Brown had shamelessly inflated his military experiences. The few votes I cost Brown cost him the election. If he had not lied, Brown would be a senator today.

“In 2015 Jennifer Horn and Senator Kelly Ayotte attacked the only GOP congressman, Frank Guinta, because of Guinta’s possible violation of election law. Horn and Ayotte managed to destroy Guinta, but in the process Ayotte also destroyed her own reelection campaign as GOP voters rejected her. Horn and Ayotte fumbled away half the congressional delegation.

“In 2016 Horn began her latest anti-GOP travesty, becoming a leader of the ‘Never Trumpers.’ Today in 2020, as a ‘founder’ of the Lincoln Project Horn launches relentless attacks on the president. Is Trump perfect? Not by a New Hampshire country mile. But using Joe Biden’s own metric, ‘Compare me to the alternative, not the Almighty,’ there is no comparison between the enfeebled Biden and Trump. Yet Horn and her group of disgruntled Republicrats are determined to turn America over to extreme-left Democrats.

“My prediction in 2011 that Horn was becoming a Democrat was prophetic. Only New Hampshire Republican leaders were too dumb to see what was front of them, and made her state chairman. They have paid a horrible political price.

“In 2016, I exposed that the GraniteGrok-supported Jim Lawrence was a fraud. I reported that Lawrence was not a ‘small businessman’ because the state had shut down his business. Lawrence claimed to be a government expert but the government had banned him from bidding on contracts. And he had failed to pay taxes on his home. The Union Leader and WMUR used my research to defeat Lawrence and reelect an extreme Democrat to congress.

“In 2018, the party favorite was Andy Sanborn. Prior efforts by others to expose Sanborn had failed. After I entered the primary, I negotiated an agreement with the Attorney General, without even filing an RTK lawsuit, exposing secret state transcripts disclosing Sanborn’s sexual peccadilloes. Sanborn spent $1 million to be defeated. I did not spend a penny other than my filing fee to defeat him.

“So, to my friends at GraniteGrok, let me say, again, you have backed losing candidates who defrauded Republican voters. Why are you so opposed to me? Do you still ridicule my claim I am the most experienced candidate to run against Shaheen?

“If nominated, I will do to Shaheen what I have repeatedly done to my primary opponents. Expose her corruption and target her for defeat.

“All I have asked the Republican Party to do is stay neutral in primaries, as required by the party’s bylaws. In 2018, party leaders created endless roadblocks to hamstring my campaign and to deprive me of an honest election. They paid the price.

“I call my current opponents ‘Dumb’ and ‘Dumber,’ although on any given day it is difficult to decide who is the ‘Dumbest.’ They are worthless candidates propelled by vanity and little else.

“This month I launch a series of ‘weeks’ to expose the Republican Party’s leadership corruption and incompetence (see below). There is serious circumstantial evidence that my primary opponents are Democratic Party sympathizers and saboteurs. I will set forth my analysis and facts, and let GOP voters decide for themselves. But based on my track record of nailing fraudulent candidates, could anyone claim I lack the ‘experience’ to do so? Over to you, GraniteGrok.”

Projected list of campaign disclosures (these dates are aspirational and may slip by a day or two):

Week of June 15:

“Bolduc Week,” a series of five exposures on Bolduc

Week of June 25:

“Messner Week,” a series of four disclosures about “Porky” Messner

Week of July 2 (this may slip slightly because of the holiday):

“NHGOP week,” exposing the New Hampshire GOP leadership’s refusal to hold honest and impartial primaries. Does anyone really believe the GOP remains a serious statewide opponent for the New Hampshire Democrat ‘Machine’ today?”

Dear Councilor:

I cannot be at your public hearing today on the nomination of Frank Edelblut as Education Commissioner. But I want to support Frank’s nomination and urge you to confirm him.

We can proudly say that New Hampshire is the only state in the entire Northeast with a “triple play,” control of the state house, senate and governor’s office. So we have a special duty to get it right. New Hampshire has always been a leader in applying conservative principles to the challenges of our constantly changing society.

We want the best for our kids. And we want them to receive a traditional American education.

Frank has innovative ideas. Governor Sununu has faith in Frank; I do too.

Our Republican majority in Washington has promised to send more responsibility and accountability back to the states. I hope they make good on that pledge. Frank can be part of both a new legislative/executive team that meets the challenges sent from Washington and also help undo the damage of past administrations and maladministration in Concord.

I wholeheartedly endorse Frank Edelblut and I hope you will vote to confirm him.

As always, please feel free to call me if I can answer any questions.

Respectfully submitted,

Andy

New Hampshire conservative Republican leader Andy Martin says Jennifer Horn violated the New Hampshire Republican Party’s bylaws by attacking Donald Trump

Conservative New Hampshire Republican Party leader and corruption fighter Andy Martin says that New Hampshire State GOP chairman Jennifer Horn should not be criticizing Donald Trump. Criticism of candidates is a role reserved for candidates and activists, not for official party leaders who must remain neutral. Martin has promised to start running attack ads against Horn in September (they may be delayed to early October) because Horn acts and apparently believes her role as state chairman permits her to act as a roving commissioner of morality. “In June I gave the state committee 90 days to remove Horn, and the toadies on the GOP’s state committee have done nothing. Horn continues running her mouth. Soon she will have alienated everyone. Horn’s big mouth is helping to kill off the New Hampshire primary, which is already on life support. She must be removed. Period. She has no business distorting the facts and using Fox News’ false version of reality to attack Donald Trump.”

Andy Martin criticizes New Hampshire state GOP chairman Jennifer Horn for attacking Donald Trump

Andy says “Horn has no business running her mouth attacking presidential candidates”

Andy says Horn is acting as a stooge for Fox News; Megyn Kelly was a character assassin during the faux Fox news “debate” and Kelly should not be immune from return fire by Trump

Andy will start running attack ads on New Hampshire media in October seeking to remove Horn as chairman

(Chicago, IL) (August 10, 2015)

DISCLAIMER:

I am not supporting Donald Trump as a candidate and have no connection with Trump’s campaign. I am an independent media and conservative analyst and activist. Because of my unalterable opposition to Jeb Bush, I am not supporting or endorsing any presidential candidate. I will support any Republican candidate for president except Jeb Bush.

-----

Dear Granite State Republican Party committee member:

When the cat’s away the mice will play. It seems that every time I leave New Hampshire on an anti-corruption mission Jennifer Horn starts running her mouth and attacking some candidate or other (see link below).

In June I gave you 90 days to remove Horn or I would take to the airwaves to seek her removal. Well, approximately 60 of those 90 days have passed, and either in late September or early October my attack ads against Horn will begin.

Megyn Kelly is everytign Horn says Kelly is (“intelligent, educated...” On that much we agree. But Kelly is also a faux “journalist” who was used last week by the powers-that-be behind Fox News to assassinate the character of Donald Trump.

Kelly cherry-picked some old comments Trump may have made years ago (Kelly produced no evidence of when or where the comments were made) and used them to suggest Trump is anti-woman. I see no evidence whatsoever that Trump is anti-woman. Trump is used to trash talking in his television role and he is having something of a difficult transition to presidential politics where different standards apply.

Now let me be clear. Trump alone is responsible for his language. I would not have spoken as he did. I would have slammed Kelly even harder, but with more polite words. But Trump’s language is not the issue.

The state GOP constitution and bylaws mandate that party officials remain neutral. When you are slamming a presidential candidate you are violating party neutrality. In June Horn attacked a sitting GOP congressman over an opaque campaign finance dispute. Horn simply can't stop herself from running her mouth.

Honestly, I have no problem with Horn mouthing off and expressing her opinions as an ordinary Republican. I am not a party official and I express my own opinions freely. You know me for that. But a party chairman surrenders his or her free speech in order to become a neutral party leader.

Horn falsely claims she has a “responsibility as chairman” to attack candidates who displease her (see link below). She has no such “responsibility.” Are you aware of any such “responsibility” in our party's bylaws? She voluntarily surrendered some of her free speech rights when she accepted the role of neutral party chairman.

Particularly when Trump was ambushed by Kelly’s distortions and misrepresentations, along with those of Bret Baier and Chris Wallace, Trump has a right to hit back and hard. Fox News has a constitutional right to act on a biased basis. But then Fox News cannot claim to be a neutral and impartial “news” organization. Asking “tough” questions does not translate into asking “dirty” questions, or into attacking one candidate (Trump) while shielding another candidate from even worse misbehavior (Jeb Bush).

Fox News did not act impartially last Thursday. Fox News employees were doing the bidding of Fox News owners and executives who dislike Trump. It’s a “New York thing,” having nothing to do with the presidential race.

I urge you to remove Horn before my broadcast ads seeking Horn’s removal start running.

The New Hampshire primary is already on life support due to the power grab of Fox News to arrogate the authority over who can debate and who can be a national candidate. Horn is just helping Fox News drive our primary into the ground so Fox News can make millions by hijacking the audience.

Please have the backbone to remove Horn.

As I said at the outset, Horn has no right to decide who is and who is not a candidate, or how national candidates conduct themselves. In 2014 Horn ran a rigged primary for the U.S. Senate; she imported a Massachusetts liberal to run as a Granite State senate candidate and tried to run other local candidates out of the race; and she alienated conservatives who did not support the phony candidate. We lost a senate seat that a local Granite Stater could have won. If Horn had run an honest and impartial primary, all of the candidates would have joined together and worked together to elect the winner. We did not.

Horn is a failed leader whose approach to politics continues to divide us and to drive the party into the ground. How long are you going to continue to tolerate her antics?

Sincerely,

Andy

Andy Martin charges that New Hampshire GOP leader Jennifer Horn is jeopardizing the 2016 presidential primary by defending a sex fiend

Independent New Hampshire Republican leader Andy Martin says a New Hampshire sex scandal involving U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte, Jennifer Horn, State Representative Bill O’Brien and Dave Wihby will almost certainly impact the 2016 presidential primary. Horn’s inappropriate behavior defending an accused sex fiend could also inflict lasting damage on both New Hampshire’s presidential primary and the local Republican Party.

David Wihby, a senior staff associate to U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte, was recently arrested in Nashua in a prostitution sting. Ordinarily the actions of the Nashua Police Department’s “Prostitute Squad” would not have national implications. But Andy explains why the sex scandal and Horn’s belligerent and incompetent behavior is reopening old wounds and creating party fissures that will seriously impact the 20216t presidential primary.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Andy Martin says that Jennifer Horn’s attacks on State Representative Bill O’Brien are certain to impact the 2016 presidential primary

Andy says Horn‘s corruption and incompetence as a state party leader will make a mess of the 21016 presidential primary

Andy says Horn is jeopardizing the integrity of New Hampshire’s “first in the nation” primary and should resign as state chairman

Andy says Horn’s corruption and incompetence cost New Hampshire Republicans a 2014 U. S. Senate election victory

Andy once again defends free speech in the New Hampshire Republican Party

(Honolulu, HI) (April 10, 2015) Let me begin by stating some basics: [1] I am not a friend or supporter of State Representative Bill O’Brien. [2] I am an admitted political opponent of New Hampshire Republican State Chairman Jennifer Horn. [3] I am not an opponent of U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte but I generally view her record favorably. [4] I am in all probability New Hampshire’s leading (only?) political and governmental corruption fighter.

Ironically, I am in Honolulu this week and part of next week investigating a prostitution arrest connected to President Barack Obama (more to come on that important story as my investigation in Honolulu proceeds).

So what caught my attention? A prostitution arrest back home in New Hampshire because that arrest will almost certainly affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential primary.

David Wihby, the “state director” for U. S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (see multiplicity of links below) was arrested by the Nashua Police Department in a prostitution sting. Usually a local prostitution arrest would not trigger national implications. But the “secondary explosions” following the arrest of local powerhouse David Wihby do have national implications for the 2016 presidential primary and perhaps even for primaries after that one. Allow me to explain. (I will also be providing coverage in greater depth on this issue during the next few days as we approach a “First in the Nation” presidential candidate event April 18-18 in – where else? – Nashua. (Hopefully no candidate will be caught by the NPD’s “Prostitution Squad” during the “FITN” event.)

I worked in the U. S. Senate and have been a follower of the senate and national politics for half a century. One of the cardinal rules for U. S. Senators is that they should not intrude in local politics and party primaries because such local meddling can cost them support and ultimately reelection. Ayotte has been a decent senator, not excellent but decent, but her lack of prior elected political experience and her constant meddling in New Hampshire GOP internal politics and primaries could cost her reelection in 2016.

In 2014, Ayotte supported Horn’s maneuver to import an out-of-state candidate, Scott Brown, for the U. S. Senate. The tactic backfired. Conservatives rebelled. In late 2014 Ayotte again backed Horn during an internal battle over who would become speaker of the state house of representatives after Republicans took control in Concord in 2014. The majority of the caucus supported State representative Bill O’Brien but Horn and Ayotte backed his opponent. O’Brien was stabbed in the back when the supporters of Horn and Ayotte supported an anti-O’Brien candidate for speaker, and the Democrats ended up choosing the speaker for a Republican majority. Understandably, O’Brien is still rankled by what happened only a few months ago.

Horn has been attacking me since 2011 and so I have no more love for her than Bill O’Brien does.

Earlier this week O’Brien issued an attack on Ayotte for her poor choice of senior staff member in Wihby. End of story? Not at all. Horn then attacked O’Brien for attacking Wihby and herein lies the crux of the conflict for 2016 and thereafter.

Horn likes to talk about “party unity.” But Horn is functionally an idiot. Horn has done more to spread GOP party disunity than anyone else in New Hampshire. For Horn, “party unity” is a one way street, and she owns the street. Not surprisingly, conservative and pro-integrity Republicans such as me are opponents of Horn and her one-way demands for party unity.

Horn said O’Brien’s critical remarks about Ayotte and Wihby were “extremely disappointing and beneath the dignity of his public office.” Defending Ayotte and Wihby, Horn said everyone should be praying for the “john” and his “recovery.”

I am not defending O’Brien. He is fully capable of defending himself. But I am defending free speech for New Hampshire Republicans, this time Bill O’Brien’s. Last month Horn attacked U. S. Senator Ted Cruz, seeking to limit his free speech; I also defended Cruz’s right to speak his mind.

Horn recently obtained national publicity when Governor Scott Walker had to avoid her home due to a dog allergy. How many presidential candidates are going to want to be seen with Horn or by her side when she is creating intra-party conflicts and reopening wounds, thereby becoming toxic to local Granite State Republicans? How many? Not many. And how many candidates are politely going to go out of their way to avoid Horn? Very many.

I am going to have a lot more to say about Jennifer Horn’s toxicity in the next week. Horn is a disgrace to the New Hampshire Republican Party. And because she continually keeps insulting loyal Republicans, seeking to rig state primaries and prefer one candidate over another to promote her own self-interest, she is going to negatively impact the 2016 presidential primary. Other states are only too willing to pounce on New Hampshire’s “first in the nation” status. If Horn keeps making New Hampshire a place where state leaders – who are supposed to be neutral – keep attacking loyal local Republicans with whom they disagree, New Hampshire is going to become a primary pariah in the future. Horn made a lifetime enemy of me in 2011 (all while her son was driving drunk along the state’s highways, potentially killing someone and while Horn has IRS tax liens on her home; she is the complete hypocrite) and Horn is making new enemies of Granite State Republicans every day.

Bill O’Brien was the choice of a majority of his caucus. He was screwed by Horn & Co. Any presidential candidate who allows himself or herself to be featured with Horn is likely to become toxic to O’Brien and other conservatives. I am not perfect, O’Brien is not perfect. Horn is not perfect. If we were able to sit down and work out our differences without dirty dealing and backstabbing perhaps we could. But because Horn persists in repeatedly screwing us and many, many other Republicans she is single-handedly destroying the Republican Party in New Hampshire and ensuring ongoing Democratic Party dominance.

Jennifer Horn? She is “First in the Nation” among corrupt and incompetent state Republican Party leaders. Need I say more about what this bodes for the 2016 presidential primary and beyond? And so, an obscure prostitution arrest of an obscure individual will almost certainly have an impact in the 2016 New Hampshire presidential primary. Any presidential candidate seen with Horn will be toxic to loyal New Hampshire Republicans.
